What should I expect when getting a filling?

When getting a filling at RR Dentistry, you relax in a comfortable dental chair. If needed, your specialist numbs the treatment area and removes any tooth decay. They then apply filling materials to affected teeth and use a special light to harden each filling.

Call the RR Dentistry office if your filling gets damaged, falls off, or becomes uncomfortable. See your dentist at least every six months for professional teeth cleanings and dental exams to reduce the risk of tooth decay.

Adopt good oral hygiene habits at home. Brush your teeth after meals, use mouthwash if your dentist recommends it, and floss every day. Avoid chewing on ice and other hard objects.
